Applications Open for Young Senators Program
The Young Senators Program is back!
Formerly known under a different name, this long-standing program has been refreshed with a new curriculum and renewed focus—continuing its mission to inspire Inland Empire teens to explore careers in public service.
Each year, Senator Reyes selects high school students from across Senate District 29 to participate in a unique learning and volunteer experience. Young Senators gain hands-on exposure to the skills public servants use every day, while engaging directly with local, state, and tribal leaders who are making a difference in their communities.
Participants leave the program with a deeper understanding of state government, expanded professional networks, and valuable insight into career paths that can support their success in college and beyond.
If you—or a young person you know—are interested in discussing issues that matter to our community, building leadership skills, and learning how government works from the inside, we encourage you to apply here today.
