Like many of you, I grew up right here in the Inland Empire and have watched our communities fight to be heard. I first sought to represent you in the California Legislature because too often decisions about our future were being made without us.
Over the past nine years, you have been my partners in this work. Together, piece by piece, we have delivered real progress—bringing home critical investments for infrastructure, victim services, historic preservation, and student opportunity; strengthening protections for workers; defending our environment; increasing transparency; and holding warehouses accountable as neighbors in our communities.
Each accomplishment is one piece of something larger: a stronger, more just Inland Empire that reflects the voices and values of the people who call it home. Thank you for being an essential piece of our progress.
