Nominate through May 31 – Summer Celebration of Service

Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes is now accepting nominations for the Summer Community Honors, recognizing individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact across Senate District 29.

Nominations are currently open for Man of the Year and Veteran of the Year only. Small Business of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year will be recognized at the event, but nominations for those categories have already closed.

Award Categories
• Man of the Year – Honoring a man whose leadership and service have strengthened the community
• Veteran of the Year – Recognizing a veteran who continues to serve and uplift others beyond their military service
• Small Business of the Year – Honoring a locally owned small business contributing to economic vitality and community wellbeing
• Non-Profit of the Year – Recognizing a non-profit organization demonstrating outstanding service and community impact

Eligibility
Nominees must:
• Live, operate, or primarily serve within Senate District 29
• Be associated with the city selected on the nomination form
• Demonstrate significant service, leadership, or positive community impact

Nomination Period
• Open: May 4
• Close: May 31

Community members may submit multiple nominations per category.

Recognition
Honorees will be recognized at the Summer Celebration of Service on July 17.
