Reyes Urges Support for AB 1261 Bonta Immigrant Youth Access to Legal Counsel

"Having legal representation is extremely important," said Senator Reyes. "Children who have been arrested for simply being an immigrant or because of the color of their skin, will lose 90 percent of the time if they don't have an attorney. I respecfully ask for an aye vote."
