Senator Reyes presents SB 415 PLANS Act

Senator Reyes presented SB 415 to Assembly Appropriations Committee on August 20.

This bill provides some technical updates to AB 98 (2024), which established new design-build standards for “21st Century Warehouses." SB 415 clarifies definitions, grants cities more time to update their circulation element, and provides safe harbors for cities that are updating their circulation element in good faith.

SB 415 passed Assembly Appropriations on a 11 to 1 vote and will be voted on by the full Assembly by September 12.
